Abundio’s Studio teaches martial arts for all ages with a positive reinforcement philosophy that teaches respect, courage, valor, grace, and effective striking. There are rules and guidelines that help Abundio’s Studio remain the best martial arts school in Ft Worth, TX. Each student should keep a notebook of all important Karate Center information, including exam sheets and belt certificates. It is necessary to address all instructors as Mr., Mrs., or Miss and to say "Yes, Sir/Ma'am" or "No, Sir/Ma'am." In class every student must wear uniform (either TKC T-shirt or Gi top with Gi pants and belt) to class. Every student testing must wear white Gi top and black Gi pants with belt to Belt Test. Other martial arts patches may not be worn on uniform unless approved by Mr. Munoz. Talking in class without raising your hand is not respectful and please do not wear jewelry to class or Belt Test. Gum, food, and/or drinks in workout area is not allowed and no swinging on bags. Please use restroom and get water before class and always respect people in or out of Abundio’s Studio. Taekwondo students are not to loaf or horseplay during class. If you are sick, please stay home and especially no sparring of any kind unless supervised by Mr. Munoz. When sparring in class every male must wear a groin protector to class (beginner and advanced) and please return all equipment to its proper place after use. All martial arts students should help keep Abundio’s Studio clean. Every student must purchase his or her gear at Orange Belt. This includes, mouthpiece, groin protector (male students), head gear (with face shield for Juniors) hand and foot gear, shin guards, and all supplies must be paid for before they are ordered. Karate students must be on time to class and always be prepared to train hard. |
